On the subject of;
“Treasures of the Hudson Highlands” Sanders shares some of the inspiration for the series.
.
“Yes, there were pirates on the Hudson, as early as there was trade on the river. It seems Captain Kidd's final crew was recruited from this area and retired here upon his betrayal and unfortunate demise. There were, and are, pirates here. Of that there is no doubt.”
.
The year is 1710. 5 mysteriously prescient maps foist themselves on 5 pirate captains and their crews, leading each ship to the Hudson Highlands treasure town which will become -Beacon.

What is the nature of the treasure? Who will find it first?

Who, or what, is after the pirates?

There's something in the water.
