Beacon Open Studios (BOS) is a city-wide art event, connecting local artist and their studios to the public. BOS allows you an up-close look at what artists do behind closed doors. Visitors and art enthusiasts have total viewing access to workspaces where artists display past, current and artworks in progress. BOS aspires to bring visitors from the surrounding areas to create a stronger sense of awareness of Beacon as an art destination. This year there will be 80 artists whose studios will be open for visiting making it the largest art event of it's type in the Hudson Valley. BOS is now in its second year, scheduled for September 25-26, 2010.

The Kickoff Show is up! Come by Hudson Beach Glass at 162 Main St. in Beacon any day of the week between now and October 3rd to see a sampling of the talent right here in Beacon.
